I promise I haven't forgotten about this blog. Life is simply INSANE and I'm trying to catch up on a million things. I'm editing some photos from San Francisco and hope to post them soon!

Etsy Shop

Ok...so, I decided to make a little shop on Etsy.com. Etsy is a really cute website which reminds me of Ebay, except you aren't bidding on things, and everything is either homemade or vintage. I was going to create a site from scratch, and then realized I do not have enough coding skills to make that work. So Etsy it is! I'm starting very small, with customized birth and baptism announcements. I'll add some holiday and birthday cards sometime soon, hopefully. And maybe some photography. Or other art. We shall see. I've got to actually get some orders first, ha.

Football Birthday Party Invitation

My little man will be turning one this month! How time flies...

Of course I had fun creating a birthday party invitation for him. I'm still waiting for the order to come in, so they have not been sent out yet, but here is the little design I came up with. I took the photo of Luke in his Browns warm-ups and football.

Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin

This past weekend we made the 6 hour trek up to Lac du Flambeau, Wisconsin, for my cousin Ted's wedding. I was very excited at the chance to take my camera along and get some nice shots of the beautiful Northwoods. Unfortunately, the weather did not want to cooperate. The high was 49, it was overcast and raining, and very windy! I felt awful for the bride and groom, but that's another story. So, I didn't get out to take any photos until later Saturday evening and then early Sunday morning, before we left.

Summer Evening Luke

I like taking Luke outdoors. Especially in the grass. Yesterday I laid out a blanket and set him on it. He was a little weirded out by the grass (see the 4th photo down!), so stayed on the blanket! It's rare I can keep him in one place very long, so this was a perfect photo opportunity.
